Leaves comes with four card decks with the following titles: Consideration, Prevention, Conservation, and Restoration.  Each card deck has 36 cards, making a total of 144 cards for the game.  Each card has a multiple choice question related to an environmental, inspirational, or social subject.  As players correctly answer questions, either independently or collaboratively, they earn green leaves (vs. red leaves for wrong answers) to place on the game board and benefit coins to keep track of their points.  At the end of the game, leaves cover the game board and players count up their benefit coins to determine their levels of individual and group success.  The questions are designed to inspire discussion and curiosity about our world and are suitable for children as well as adults.  Many cards include reference numbers players can look up in the Rules and References booklet for additional research information.
